Refund Policy

1. Cooling-Off Period

You may cancel your insurance policy within the cooling-off period:

  • 15 days from the date of policy issuance for new policies
  • 30 days for online purchases
  • Full refund of premium paid (minus any applicable charges)
  • No claims should have been made during this period

2. Policy Cancellation Refunds

If you cancel your policy after the cooling-off period:

  • Refund will be calculated on a pro-rata basis
  • Administrative charges may apply
  • No refund if a claim has been paid
  • Minimum retention premium may be applicable

3. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed:

  • Within 15-30 business days from approval
  • To the original payment method used
  • Bank processing time may vary (3-7 business days)

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Policy cancelled due to non-payment of premium
  • Policy cancelled due to fraud or misrepresentation
  • Claims have been paid under the policy
  • Policy has expired

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  • Submit a written cancellation request
  • Include your policy number and reason for cancellation
  • Provide bank account details for refund transfer
  • Submit any required documentation

6. Partial Refunds

In certain cases, partial refunds may be issued:

  • Policy modifications or coverage reductions
  • Overpayment of premiums
  • Duplicate payments

7. Renewal Refunds

If you cancel within 15 days of policy renewal:

  • Full refund of renewal premium
  • No claims should have been made in the renewal period
  • Previous policy period remains unaffected
